Why Jacob Foan?

Jacob Foan is the writer, creator, and attached lead actor of Pyjama Man. His lived experience and original music sit at the core of the film – shaping its voice and perspective.

Recognition – Jacob was winner of the international ISINA TV talent competition – a six-week Los Angeles music residency with 15 global finalists, selected from over 30,000 applicants. He was mentored by Grammy-winner Walter Afanasieff (My Heart Will Go On, Hero) and supported by American Idols Randy Jackson. Though the $2 million production was never broadcast, the experience became the inspiration for Pyjama Man – a story shaped by life beyond the spotlight.

Music and performance – Jacob is a vocalist, pianist and songwriter, with original music already developed for the film, forming a key part of its narrative and emotional language.
